Bil lepp is an award winning storyteller, author and recording artist. He performs shows all over the US at libraries, schools, festivals, and conferences. His programs are family friendly and geared toward Pre-schoolers and up. Lepp has been a Featured Teller at the National Storytelling Festival twenty-three times, and is the five-time Champion of the West Virginia Liars Contest. With awards from The Parents Choice Foundation, National Assoc. of Parenting Products Awards, The School Library Journal, and the PEN Steven Kroll Award for Children's Book Writing for his first picture book, The King Of Little Things, Lepp would be a perfect fit your West Virginia library summer programming.
What Bil Offers
Bil offers 45-90 minute storytelling shows for Summer Reading Programs, children's programming, teen reading, or general public shows.
Bil's storytelling has been well received at libraries all over West Virginia, and the US. His hilarious, often WV based, tall-tales and stories are a hit wherever he goes.
Lepp has created 25 audio recordings, published 8 books, hosted and been featured on Mountain Stage, and is the recipient of The Vandalia Award, WV's highest Folk-Art honor.
